COOK — Northwoods Friends of the Arts is pleased to announce the winners of the 2021 photo contest and fundraiser, “Finding Light.” The contest was announced in February. 68 photos
COOK â Northwoods Friends of the Arts will be offering four classes free of charge to children of all ages with instructors Alberta Whitenack and Kris Musto. The classes will take place at NWFA Gallery at 210 S. River St. in the Dream Weaver Salon complex. Contact Alberta at 218-666-2153 for information or to register for a class.

Photo entries for the 2021 Northwoods Friends of the Arts (NWFA) annual photo contest must be submitted in Cook, Minn., at the NWFA Gallery by Saturday, May 1. Enter your best photos for a chance to win a cash prize and the opportunity to sell your photos.
This yearâs theme is, âFinding Light.â What has helped you get through this year? What have you learned that puts light in the world as you know it? Capture that âlightâ by submitting photos that may be in the following three sizes: 5x7, 8x10 or, the new size, 8x12 inches.
This will be a âPeopleâs Choiceâ contest. Visit NWFA Gallery, enjoy the artwork and vote. The most favored winning photo/photographer will be awarded $100 and the runner-up photographer $50.
