Phyllis M. Jensen

Phyllis M. Jensen 86, of Willmar, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Carris Health Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar. Her funeral service will be 11:00 am on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Green Lake Free Lutheran Church in rural Spicer. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday from 5-8:00 pm at Harvey Anderson and Johnson Funeral Home in Willmar and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Phyllis Marion Jensen was born on August 22, 1935, in Lone Tree Township near Clara City, the daughter of Roy and Lydia (Gehkre) Flickinger. Phyllis grew up on the family farm near Kandiyohi. She attended elementary school in Kandiyohi and went on to Willmar High School where she graduated with the class of 1953. After high school, Phyllis moved to the Twin Cities where she worked at Pillsbury. On September 10, 1955, Phyllis was united in marriage to Earl Phillip Jones at Green Lake Free Lutheran Church.
