Orland Park Mayor Keith Pekau is "off the rails on a crazy train"

Orland Park Mayor Keith Pekau went on a name calling rant filled with lies and falsehoods, attacking critics who have demanded that he be accountable in his 2023 State of the Village Speech. It was hosted by the Orland Park Chamber of Commerce. Instead of focusing on Pekau's sales tax hike or his new utility tax on residents taxes that harms business and residents the Chamber cheered Pekau's false political claims without even a peep, never questioning the oppressive tax hikes that will burden Orland Park property owners. The smoke and mirrors attacks are intended to distract voters form Pekau's tax hikes and poor management and make him look like the "victim." ....

Orland Park Triangle Project enters new phase with action on development plan

The Edwards Realty Co. helped build Orland Park Crossing, which houses Marianoâs, P.F. Changs, Yankee Candle and other tenants at 14225 S. 95th Ave.
The Orland Park-based company now has a chance to spruce up the area across the street as well.
The Village of Orland Park Board of Trustees and Mayor Keith Pekau have voted 6-1 to approve a memorandum of understanding and consulting agreement with the company to help develop the remainder of the Downtown Main Street Triangle District.
Three retiring trustees had reservations about how fast this project developed, and James Dodge voted ânoâ because some board members were left out of the planning process. ....
