Carl parker, more storms on the way for certain people, but what happened in raleigh is really devastating. i understand roads are still closed in many areas. yeah, a lot of the downtown area roads had trees over them, had to be closed. shaw university here has had to cancel a lot of classes for the rest of the year. take a look at the neighborhood behind me and you get some idea of how powerful these twisters were. entire stories of houses literally peeled away and the stories that these people have to tell us are really just incredible down this street. one family rode it out on the second floor of their house. that house ended up off of its foundation. here the families tell me they re lucky they weren t home at the time, but they describe what they would be doing in these rooms normally. you can see a tv up there. they said they would have been home probably watching tv, sitting in some of those rooms, and so it s just incredible that they survived, and they know ....
