Birth of baby Leo inspires Menston dad to pick up running shoes | Bradford Telegraph and Argus

AN “absolute non-runner” dad Johnny Ratcliffe from Menston is running 5K a Day throughout December to raise funds for Down Syndrome Support in Bingley, after they helped his family in 2020.
“January 2020 saw us welcome our son Leo into the world. Leo was diagnosed post birth with Down Syndrome, a total shock and a total game changer for me personally,” said Johnny.
After a friend told him he couldn’t do it, he decided to hit the running challenge head on.
His 5k a day running challenge is now halfway through, and so far, he has run a total of 92km, over the first 17 days. ....
