Please mark your calendars for Town Meeting on Saturday, May 1, at 10 a.m., and Special Town Meeting (to choose a future Community Center option) for Saturday, June 12, at  10 a.m. Both Town Meetings will be held outside at Dover-Sherborn Regional School, Nora Searle Field.

Dover Lifetime Learning offers course on Impressionism COURTESY OF DOVER LIFETIME LEARNING The Friends of the Dover Council on Aging, with support of the Dover Council on Aging, are sponsoring the following three-part Lifetime Learning series: Painters of Modern Life: Transatlantic Impressionism Thursdays, 1:30-3 p.m., May 13, 20 and 27. Cost is $30. Classes conducted on Zoom: Instructions on how to join these meetings will be e-mailed to participants. Course Description: Throughout the history of art, artists have painted modern life. So, why, when we use the term “painters of modern life” do we usually think of the Impressionism movement? This three-session course aims to examine that question, working from the presumption that when the 19th-century Impressionists focused on modern life they did so as part of a concerted effort to not only reject traditional subject matter but also traditional artistic goals, techniques, and approaches to the marketplace. Five Things for Dover, Sherborn and Medfield: Relay for Life update Wicked Local 1 The Friends of the Dover Council on Aging, with support of the Dover Council on Aging, are sponsoring the following three-part Lifetime Learning series on “Painters of Modern Life: Transatlantic Impressionism.” The series will be held Thursdays, 1:30-3 p.m., May 13, 20 and 27. Registration forms are available online at http://www.coafriends.org/. 2 The Medfield Animal Shelter’s annual low-cost rabies vaccination clinic is scheduled for April 24, and will take place at the shelter. Pets from all towns are welcome. Cats will be vaccinated from 9-10:30 a.m. and dogs from 10:30 a.m.-noon. The cost is $10 per pet and can be paid by cash or check. Dogs must be on leashes and cats must be in carriers. Seniors age 65 and over can receive free rabies vaccines for their pets. Medfield d
