This is the Douglas Community center over here, you see a playground, jungle gym and we understand that the shooting happened on this Basketball Court just behind us you can still see that police car sitting there. I want to show you video that we shot tonight of the crime Scenes Police spent much time focused on the area between parked cars and houses. Up on those Basketball Courts. They sit next to the playground with the jungle gym, there were shell casings all over the court. Police eventually brought dogs to sniff the area. M. , the first of the firefighters arrive. It is already a well advanced fire. Two residents were found in windows and firefighters took them down by ground ladder. Reporter five residents injured, three taken to a local hospital for smoke inhalation and minor injuries. One firefighter is treated on the scene, but returns to duty. The fire leaves at least 12 families homeless just days before christmas. The American Red Cross is working with 21 adults and 11 children displaced by the fire. Were providing funds for food, clothing, lodging, and we are also connecting them with other agencies out there.
