BOISE, Idaho The second impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump is set to start the week of Feb. 8. He is the first president to be impeached twice and the first to face trial after leaving office.

The number of new daily COVID-19 cases has fallen from an average high of just under 1,500 in mid-December to just under 600 now in late January. Along with that, the number of people hospitalized with COVID-related illness has dropped substantially.
According to the state of Idaho, December 1, 2020 saw the highest number of people hospitalized at 496. Compare that to January 25. 241 were in the hospital being treated for COVID. On December 1 105 patients were in the intensive care unit. On January 25 64 were in the ICU. ....

BOISE, Idaho The number of new daily COVID-19 cases has fallen from an average high of just under 1,500 in mid-December to just under 600 now in late January. Along with that, the number of people hospitalized with COVID-related illness has dropped substantially. 
According to the state of Idaho, Dec. 1 saw the highest number of people hospitalized at 496, with 105  COVID-19 patients in the ICU. In comparison, 241 people were in the hospital being treated for COVID, with 64 in the ICU, by Jan. 25.  ....

BOISE, Idaho More and more Idahoans are getting vaccinated against COVID-19 every day, but the pace of the rollout is slower than expected.
As of Friday, 82,475  total vaccine doses have been administered. 68,627 people have received at least one dose of the vaccine. Of those, 13,732 have received both doses.
For Sunday s Viewpoint, Doug Petcash talked with Idaho s Immunization Program Manager Sarah Leeds about the pace of distribution and efforts to ramp it up. ....
