BROOKLAND, Ark. (KAIT) - Dozens of parents showed up to a Brookland School Board meeting Monday night looking for answers after multiple investigations from several agencies.
The meeting began at 7 p.m. and the members got through the agenda about 7 minutes later.
Region 8 News reported after 11:30 p.m., the school board came out of executive session.

The Brookland School District is still under investigation by Arkansas Legislative Audit as an investigation regarding missing items unfolds. Wednesday, school buses were brought to the attention of many.
Region 8 News reported several items missing: a mower, a gas pump, shower stall, and others.
Since then, the school’s Director of Maintenance Rob Ingram submitted his resignation on Monday.
Wednesday, reports were circulating about two school buses.

Thomas has been with Crowleyâs Ridge Development Council since mid-2018. He was an assistant to former Craighead County Judge Ed Hill for almost eight years before that, and he served as a special projects coordinator under mayors Doug Formon and Harold Perrin before that.
Prior to local government work, he was an educator.
Copenhaver said Thomasâ background made for an ideal selection.
âTony has experience in different areas,â Copenhaver said Wednesday. âI got to know him well when he worked for Ed ⦠and then I also understand when I was in state government, the importance of CRDC and how he was working with grants. So the overall picture, he gets it, and very few people have that experience.â
