Walter Edward Vogt, 77, died at Sibley Specialty Care Center on March 5, 2022. Walter was born on February 19, 1945 to Carl and Leona (Ullerich) Vogt in Worthington, MN. Walter grew up on the family farm and attended Worthington High School. Walter left school before graduating to start farming with his father. Walter lived on Lake Front Farm almost his entire life and moved into Worthington the last few years. Walter was a life-long farmer. Over the years, he operated a dairy farm with his father, and his brother Norman, finally crop farming by himself. Walter hardly missed a farm show, seed corn meeting or an auction in the area, and almost always brought home a “bargain”. ....
