Sherborn committee announces applications for tax aid now available

            The Sherborn Elderly and Disabled Tax Aid Committee reminds all Sherborn residents age 60 and older, as well as qualifying disabled residents, that applications for tax aid are available in the Assessor’s Office Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m.-noon. To request an application, please call the office at 508-651-7857, or request by writing to the Tax Aid Committee, c/o Assessors Office, Town Offices, 90 Washington St. Applications must be received by noon March 5 to be considered for aid.
            Tax Aid grants are made from a fund that is supported by the generous contributions of fellow residents who wish to offer help to those in need of assistance at tax time. ....
