Care House Executive Director Dorie Vazquez-Nolan said she recognized Hammel McLaughlin’s “passion and advocacy for preventing child abuse” when initially recruiting her to serve on the Care House Board of Directors.
Since it opened in 1996, Care House has conducted forensic interviews with over 9,500 children as part of criminal investigations and provided services to over 10,500 families.
