for no reason. reporter: we re talking to brooke. as you describe the crowd, can you describe the first three hours of angry protests? it was beautiful. it was peaceful. we had drumming circles, we had people singing together. it was the type a peaceful protest. what people usually don t see on tv. it s what s missing from everybody s eyes because all you see is the violence. and it changes the conversation. then it turns into violent baltimore instead of the real conversation which is what happened to this young man and why don t we know yet. reporter: how much will you challenge the young people in this community not to allow it to shift again? i i challenge them. i challenge them to find their voice. i challenge them to find a way to effectively deliver the things that they want people to hear. i challenge them to understand know believe, and live up to the greatness within them. i challenge them because they are great. they can be and do anything they want to. i want al
supporting that idea. in the short term it looks like it s horrible douglas for the republican party in the house but there are a lot of senators and a lot of people who don t president that actually would like these house districts to more represent the way america looks because i think republicans may control the house in 14, but the senate candidates are suffering and i can t imagine what the presidential candidates are thinking about. before we get feeling that the republican party is now just sinking to these all time loss keep in mind that the tea party group now may be sinking to its all time low. you might be able to have somebody like a jeb bush come back and run a very credible campaign. i look for the leaders of the republican party the one us don t see on tv right now, the ones that want no part of this thing because it s a big blip on
