Alice Kolisnyk contracted the coronavirus last month, a few months shy of her 100th birthday. I m lucky I m still here, Kolisnyk told CTV News Friday. I didn t even know I was sick, she said in a Zoom interview from her room at the River Ridge 2, which she hasn t left for a month. Kolisnyk was tested for COVID-19 after coming into contact with a positive case at the assisted living facility. A few days later, she developed flu-like symptoms.
