New York City Council voted to move a billion dollars from the Police Departments budget. That includes hundreds of millions of dollars for overtime pay, and safety to the department of education. Despite that budget passing last night we did just speak to one of the organizers who said one of the groups will be leaving, but they will continue to support anyone who wants to stay and there might be dozens of people who do want to stay.
