hartman joins us live from ocean city now with all of the festivities underway, hi there , trish. report report hi there walter. yes, drizzling here in ocean city, starting to let up, we found shelter under this awning not the best afternoon for the beach but as most people we have spoke with said even if the weather isn t perfect, you are still down the shore. as the rain drops started to fall, in ocean city, many people pack up their blankets and towels, thinking of a plan b for the rest of their afternoon. i literally got here, just showed up, and only five minutes. reporter: others snuggled up and stayed enjoying every last second of their time on the sand. you are still out here. we re diehard. we come down here early in the morning until late at night. we re on the beach. this is our happy place. rain or drizzle we re just happy to be here away from home and the routine. reporter: back on the bay over at overcast skies drives people away from the beach a ....
