I was born in Toronto in 1946 and grew up in Oakville, halfway between the cities of Hamilton and Toronto. PORTAGEVILLE — Patrick Michael Smith of 11913 Wiscoy Road died Monday, Dec. 21, 2020 in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester. He was born on Nov. 16, 1954 in Schenectady. He was engaged to Patti Jo Helm who survives.
Pat was a former correctional officer for Attica State Prison for 32 years and was a member of the NRA.
He was an avid outdoorsman where he would love to hunt, shoot and spend time at his best friend Ron’s sugarhouse.
Surviving in addition to his fiancé is a daughter, Alicia Helm of East Bethany, a grandson, Brandon Jacobson, a granddaughter Savannah Helm and his best friend, Ron Pixley of Centerville. ....
