I turned to the other channels i see fox debate. What are people saying . Why do you think that is . I think theres a lot of enthusiasm. I think people are much more politically engaged and probably since that 2015 debate and i think that people see this as , you know, entertainment that is very eye opening in terms of whats going on in the political world, so i think its a huge opportunity for these candidates on this stage and we see it acrosstheboard that people are just more interested in politics they are more interested in whats going on, so i think its great. it. kayleigh, what is the biggest challenge for the candidates tonight? the biggest challenge is breaking through and bin noticed on a stage of eight people. he is exactly right. don t attack trump. let chris christie do that on his, because emission. i am told by the desantis campaign they are taking the fight directly to biden. doesn t sound like they have a big focus on trump. they will focus this on being a two man race taking it to biden. meanwhile tim scott says his campaign says they feel like they will get some barbs so they are ready to punch back if necessary. the biggest threat i think for these candidates, you have to play defense and offense. play defense and field the attacks and the barbs coming at you. but you have to play offense and when voters and be memorable. that s a very hard task. as pete knows you have to have the sword and the shield to be fun to watch the combat. thanks, guys. thank you.
each other tomorrow night? you know, it s funny, the same sort of strategies coming up cow. do you attack trump or you don t attack trump? so when i was in the debate there, 16 on the stage and i was in the far periphery and my staff said, whatever you do, don t attack trump. and so the very first question, what did i do? i attacked trump.attack and mainly because ifed you re sitting on the periphery of the stage a s, you don t gett many questions. you don t get as much timey chae and your only chance really is to jump in and go after the frontrunner. p and goso i go against all thec that people say don t attack the frontrunner. he s popular. sure, he s popular. but there will be things you have to argue that you can do better than trump. and if you can t make that argumentou, you don t have a chance. so my advice is go after the frontrunner. it ll be more interesting anyway. it sure will be sage advice for dr. paul. sag thanks, as always. than k you. joe biden opened up a hundre
for him. he has a path in new hampshire. it s not huge but he s neck and neck with ron desantis right now so he s getting attention in that lane. he s saying i m in that lane with those 63%. those are my people. the people who are already in the trump category, they aren t interested in me and that s fine that s why he s not even going to iowa, so i think this story is far from written, howie, and i think that chris cristi is one of the interesting people to watch in it. howie: yeah, absolutely, and it s also interesting and we have that leaked memo from desantis pack saying don t attack trump, in fact defend him , if cristi asks a question, so he s got his or her own strategy and some of them just don t want to offend trump s loyal base thinking they can peel off some of those voters. how many of the barbs do you think will be aimed at president biden or do you think we ll see a lot more republican on republican violence? well they have to get through both hoops right? the first hoo
