Miles Winship, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully in his home on March 24, 2021. 
Miles Lyman Winship was born on April 6, 1930, in Butte, Montana, to Lawton “Glenn” Winship and Elsie (Loeppky) Winship. After his mother, Elsie, passed he was raised by Glenn and his stepmother, Tekla (Kraftenberg) Winship. Miles lived and worked on his family farm in the Bitterroot Valley throughout his childhood. He attended High School in Victor, Montana, and graduated Teacher’s College in Dillon, Montana. During the summers he worked for the Forest Service watching for forest fires. Miles taught in a country schoolhouse in Montana and later worked in a hospital in Missoula before moving to Billings where he worked for Gamble’s. ....
