Heron Foods in Shadsworth A woman almost had her neck sliced by broken glass after being shoved into a bottle shelf in an unprovoked attack in a Blackburn supermarket. On Thursday evening, Dominique Ryan, who lives in the town was shopping in Heron Foods on Rothesay Road in Shadsworth. Ms Ryan said she entered the shop with the intention of buying a few beers for herself and her friend, and was elbowed in the side by a woman and pushed into some fridges. She said: I knew she d done it on purpose but I apologised, saying, oh sorry, I didn t mean to bump into you , not wanting to make anything of it, but then as I made my way to the tills with eight Budweisers, I could see her coming down the central aisle, and she just rammed me into some shelves that had a load of glass bottles on them. ....
