A former law school student from University City appeared in federal court on Wednesday and was sentenced after fleeing the country during a child pornography investigation.
A man who fled the country for years after St. Louis County Police found a vast amount of child sex abuse material of his computer was sentenced Wednesday to seven years in federal prison.
Dominic Pavia, 42, was indicted in November 2014 on a single count of possession of child pornography. But the case stalled for almost a decade while Pavia was overseas.
