May 1, 2021 ALLIANCE– Beulah R. Lewis, 82, went home to be with the Lord Friday April 30, 2021. She was born Sept. 18, 1938 to the late Grace (Scott) Casto and Norman Casto. She is survived by her daughters Debra Gandee, Dolly Lynn, Patricia Lewis and Laura Mae Hartsock; sons John (Renee) T. Lewis Jr. and David (Kelli) Lewis; brothers Norman Casto, Elmer Casto and Jimmy Ruble; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca Carter; sister, Sandra Moore; and Aunt Ruth Blackburn. Beulah enjoyed driving bus and being with the special kids on her route. She was an avid sports fan of all Cleveland teams. She also was an Ohio State Buckeyes fan. She was a resident of Bel-Air assisted living for the last three years and they took excellent care of her. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. unlike tornadoes that happen so quickly. they knew this was going to be coming, a lot of people got out. the problem is, not everybody got out. you have some people that don t believe it s going to happen and they kind of envisioned it s going to happen to their homes, then you end up seeing so many of the pictures that we have seen of entire neighborhoods that are completely under water, right up to the rooftops. and alisyn, the other big problem with this kind of flooding is it s a very slow, painful flood. you have nice weather, you haven t had any real rain for about a week and you know that something really bad is coming your way, and it s this flooding, it s going to take probably about three weeks before this water is completely receded. and, it s going to take at least a week before it gets below major flood stage. the homes that have been flooded are going to stay that way for a very long time. that means they re going to have to be destroyed, there will be too ....
