Owner Sarah Cantelo, of Newport, said: Bessie had a slipped disc two years ago and couldn t walk. She was in the vets for a week but got no better, so the vets decided to let me take her home to see how she went - otherwise the only option was to send her to rainbow bridge. She was held up using a sling around her back end and she had a course of medication, then she started hydrotherapy at Doggy Paddles which made a great difference. Two years on and Bessie is doing great - she s had another relapse, but with rest she s now doing great and enjoying life running around with our other dogs. ....
