senators relayed to us is that he was proud of his decision to release that transcript because he believes it exonerates him. i think that is sunlen is right. i think that is crazy. if you look at it, the only thing i could see is it doesn t say hey, man, this is a straight up quid pro quo. but short of that the sophisticated defense of trump is going to become he shot his mouth off. he was just talking. just talking. you can t impeach the guy on a off-hand comment and so he made a comment to a foreign but that is an attempt to obfuscte the fact that there were actions that happened before and after that phone call. he fired the ambassador. he delayed the military aid contrary to the recommendations of the departments. and that was i think it is important that people keep focus on the broad spectrum of what trump did as well as said. and i think as trump keeps driving the public narrative here, and the communications strategy, republicans are going to become more and
working. those big corporations, they don t have loulty to america. they don t have loyalty to american workers. they have loyalty to exactly one thing, and that is their own profits. and what we ve got to do is we ve got to have a government that doesn t say hey, whatever it is that the giant multinational corporations want, let us help you. we ve got to have a government that says we need this economy. we need this country to work for working people. and that s what we re going to do. there s an interesting sort of message and messenger question here, right? so, i think that that s a very that s a message that i think has real appeal in places like this across the industrial midwest. i think there are people that see you and say e liz weather warn is a harvard law professor. she s a liberal from massachusetts. and even if i like her, are
that s the right thing to do, but 70% doesn t like it. that might be a good policy, but it s a tough sell in pennsylvania. look, the way i see this, this is what leadership is about. you do work through what you believe is right and you get out there and if most of america is not with you, you talk about it. you make the arguments and you listen. because maybe you don t have it right. you start with what you believe is right and then you get out there and fight for it. by applause o meter, we are improvi improvising. i will ask you if your top issue is health care.
