It s 10am in singapore, and 5am in beirut, where there have been further air strikes on hezbollah targets in the lebanese capital. The israeli military carried out multiple bombings and several ground incursions throughout the day. The lebanese health ministry said the strikes led to dozens of deaths, including ten firefighters. Hezbollah fired 130 rockets most of which were intercepted into israel, where across the nation a day of commemoration has been taking place to mark the first anniversary of the deadly october 7th attacks by hamas, as clive myrie reports. As a still traumatised people mourn, thousands gathered in southern israel, remembering the 383 people killed at the nova music festival. good morning. welcome to cnn this morning. it is saturday, november 25th. i m victor blackwell. i m isabel rosales. thanks for joining us. good to have you along this morning. we are waiting for the release of more hostages beings held by hamas. an israeli official says 14 hostages will be released today. in exchange, 42 palestinian hostages will be released. this is day two of four. it could bring 50 hostages home. 13 are israeli, ten are tai citizens and one be is filipino. the video was released by hamas and cnn had no control over its content. you can see several foreign nationals getting out of a mini van and a female hostage and at least one child. and there were cheers as those freed hostages arrived at hospitals near tel aviv. right now they are undergoing medical checks. officials say they are in good physical condition giving hope to families of those still being held. i can tell you this morning that we have a sign of life from my father. we know he s alive f
