Space correspondent jay barberie to explain that is go on. what happened? they have done this hundreds of times, jeff. as the progress of an unmanned spacecraft russian built carrying fuel, food, cargo for the crew on board, there are six people up there, it was appro h approaching its docking port and they lost communications with it. so they had to make a fly off, get away from the space station, and it is now six to seven miles away and is sitting out, waiting to try again, possibly sunday. no one is in any danger at anytime. but a few years back, the same type of progress ran into the mir space station, the russian station, crashed into it, endangered the crew. it is not an easy task to do, but they pretty well have the drill down now. and they ll try again on sunday to bring it where it should dock. ....
