Up, the rain has picked up as well. the storm surge is going to keep moving in, even though the tide is moving out. we are also starting to see this dock lift off. eventually these dock sections will almost certainly break off and then they become floating barges of destruction to make their way into this town. power was gone a long time ago. also fire and internet, and the police say it is simply too dangerous to head out. if they did not evacuate, they are essentially on their own. picking up on that in terms of being on your own, anyone who thought it went from a categoro not need to leave, they are stuck here. not a fun place to be stock, it won t be for the next couple of days as the water levels continue to rise. the 30 inches of range, the barrier islands about a mile or ....
Are you able to get a sense and talk about the out for the water has come up? certainly it has come up, i don t know, 10 feet or so where it was about 6:00. it s hard to tell how much of that as the tide and how much of that is the storm surge. definitely over on atlantic beach, we were seeing big storm surges as well. hard to quantify any one number to it. given the fact that all the power is out, it s impossible for us with any kind of lighting to cut through this and sort of see what is happening. it s about equally dangerous for us to venture out and try to find any flooding. suffice it to say, based on what is happening here and as we have heard things crash and break and break away, and the like, you can just imagine what an extra foot or two will do to these dock sections. very reasonable to understand, it s beyond our lights, there s a lot us to be seen. shannon: leland, we ll ....
