‘We get strength from each other’: Mask Up Jefferson County keeps an eye on restaurants, businesses

Almost 7,000 people now make up a community on Facebook dedicated to sharing information on businesses in Jefferson County that are adhering to coronavirus recommendations.
“Mask Up Jefferson County” began back in June and has steadily grown, with members sharing their own experiences in restaurants, grocery stores, shops and public places.
Need a recommendation for takeout? There are plenty, with tips on which places allow curbside or contact free transactions. How about dry cleaners? There are comments about which ones offer home delivery, and which ones don’t make employees wear masks.
