Stephen D. Chiara on Wednesday heard Judge William J. Pendergast say he would be returned to state prison for violating the terms and conditions of his release when he crashed the motorcycle he was driving in March 2019 on Interstate 80 in Fairfield and his female passenger, Mary Ellen "Max' Hadley, died.
The ruling comes a week after he pleaded to vehicular manslaughter in the Solano County Superior Court for crashing a motorcycle he was driving. The 2019 crash on Interstate 80 in Fairfield resulted in a female passenger – Mary Ellen “Max” Hadley – dying.
The man accused of kidnapping a 13-year-old girl from her home in Brawley and crossing into Mexico was supposed to appear in San Diego federal court Friday.
