Black Bourbon Society partners with Makers Mark 25th May, 2021 by Alice Brooker The Black Bourbon Society (BBS) has teamed up with Maker’s Mark to launch a programme presenting its second custom barrel. Bottles of BBS Maker’s Mark Private Selection: Recipe 2 will hit the shelves towards the end of May in store and online BBS, Maker’s Mark Bourbon and video platform Spirits Network have launched Barrel Select, a programme filmed at the Maker’s Mark distillery in Kentucky. The programme shows the process behind the creation of the second custom barrel from the distillery. Barrel Select launched on Spirits Network on 20 May, and the trailer is available to watch on the network’s Youtube channel. ....

Davis may not look like the classic bourbon lover, but she truly is a big fan of the spirit. Davis’s Black Bourbon Society website opens the door to understand her bourbon-loving journey. It reportedly began on a family trip to New Orleans. That is when Davis accepted a salesman’s suggestion about his favorite spirit and became an instant fan. But Davis did not end her love of bourbon by creating and mixing new cocktails.
