The point back in 1968 was a protest against an educational system they say worked against students of color. On the lasting effects of that bold moment. Reporter the last time this group of people Work Together they were making history. We believed at the time that we could change society. Reporter one of the student organizers of the 1968 student protest over the underrepresentation of mexican americans on the College Campuses and the overrepresentation of chicano agile teams in the vietnam war. The graduating seniors of 68 that were chicanos were less than 1 . Real inequity there. Conversely chicano over 22 .
