COLOMBO (News 1st); The Director General of Health Services on Tuesday (11) confirmed 23 deaths that occurred from 05th to 11th May, due to Covid-19 virus infection. Accordingly, the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 850.
1. The deceased is an 84 year old female resident in Rathmalana. She died on 08.05.2021 while undergoing treatments in a private Hospital in Colombo. The cause of death is mentioned as Covid pneumonia.
2. The deceased is a 61 year old male resident in Polonnaruwa. He died on 11.05.2021 while undergoing treatments in Welikanda Treatment Centre. The cause of death is mentioned as Covid pneumonia. ....

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Director General of Health Services confirmed nineteen deaths caused by Covid-19 virus infection on Friday (07). The total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 764.
1. The deceased is a 63 year old female resident in Sunandapura. She was diagnosed as infected with Covid 19 virus while undergoing treatments in Teaching Hospital Kuliyapitiya and transferred to Iranawila Covid Treatment Centre. She died on 26.04.2021 and the cause of death is mentioned as Myocardial infarction with COVID 19 infection. ....
