2018年7月，闫景垒离开家乡，从郑州来到了黄河沿岸的小县城延长县，在这片革命故土上扎下了根。从此，延长成了他的第二故乡……
作为长江期货延长扶贫工作负责人，闫景垒在延长县探索推行苹果“保险+期货”模式，给当地果农和果企传授苹果期货知识，他把自己所有的热情融到了脱贫攻坚工作中，利用苹果期货为当地苹果产业服务，最终他在当地探索出了一条特色扶贫之路，取得了丰硕的成绩。
