Expert says Easton woman charged with manslaughter had mental illness

Henry evaluated Vazquez in April 2020 and said she reviewed all the case s police reports, grand jury testimony and interviewed both Vazquez and her fiancé, Jarred Groom.
Based on the information that I reviewed and my examination of Ms. Vazquez, I concluded that, at the time of my evaluation, she met diagnostic criteria for a mental health condition that presented as a condition that distorted her thinking, her perception, Henry said. Distortion in her thinking and perception interfered with her ability to make good judgment, it affected her behaviors and it also affected her ability to meet the demands of everyday life. ....
