The call comes as NIE Networks launches its strategy to develop a sustainable energy system for the future, which it says will impact every citizen across NI.   
 
 
Entitled ‘Networks for Net Zero’, the strategy report sets out NIE Networks’ considered views on the options and pathways for decarbonisation in Northern Ireland.
It also highlights how electrification can play a significant role in a flexible and integrated decarbonised energy system.
