Let’s do some math in Click or Miss Vol. 16. news // Mar 8, 2021

Two weeks ago we posted a story highlighting the prices for a seat on the WSL’s charter plane to Australia.
The short answer? Not cheap. The even shorter answer? $2,500.
That price reflects a seat in Economy (with Business and First Class tickets going for even more green). This is all before the hotel and quarantine costs, which are another $2,500, bringing the minimum cost of getting a human being physically/legally down under to a whopping $5k (not including a return ticket home).
If you’re Rip Curl or Billabong, this is but a drop in the bucket for the exposure Cola Bros has brought their brands in the past five months.

This week’s churning of the content conveyor belt has brought you an all Hawaiian version of Click or Miss.
With Sunset cancelled, it’s fair to assume the Google search frequency for ‘flights from Honolulu’ has gone up on Oahu. While some may go, there are many reasons to remain on the North Shore (a shot at $50k following surfing’s worst fiscal year in memory being one of them).
With the noticeable uptick in surfer vlogs over the past year, and so many of those creators congregated in one place, the question must be asked: how many cameras do you think are on the North Shore this year?
