Clover has denied insinuations by the National Consumer Commission (NCC) that it erred in not immediately recalling several batches of its Go Nuts peanut butter due to too-high levels of aflatoxin.
All manufacturers of peanut butter products have been called on to test for aflatoxin, and to present their results to the National Consumer Commission within 14 days.
