Four of the closed schools are primary schools including Masebe, Mjwanga, Kajunjumele, and Tenende, and two are secondary schools – Mwaya and Tenende. This was disclosed by the Disasters Coordinator from the Prime Minister’s Office, Winfrida Ngowi said when presenting various items as assistance to flood victims, saying six wards in the District – Mwaya, Katumba-Songwe, Talatala, Kajunjumele, Matema and Bujonde were the ones affected most.
