Mesquite ISD converted an empty bank building into an after-school program.(Wade Odom / Mesquite ISD) A vacant bank building is now the site of a new after-school program in Mesquite. Called Safe Landing, the program provides a comfortable place for middle and high school students who otherwise might not have one.
