Bengal poll trends: TMC, BJP neck-and-neck


Chief minister Mamata Banerjee is trailing in Nandigram by 4,957 votes to the BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari after the completion of the second round of voting, even while the Trinamul is leading in more seats than the BJP.
According to anandabazar.com, the Trinamul Congress is leading in 189 seats and the BJP in 95 at 11 am.
Till 11.08 am, the Election Commission website had declared leads for 243 seats. Of these, Trinamul was leading in 160, while the BJP was leading in 79. In the Kalimpong Assembly seat, an Independent candidate was ahead.

Most students focus on their studies from an early stage and look for internships or apprenticeships during college days. Politics never crosses the mind of those who are going all out to land good jobs with handsome pay packages as soon as they are out of college. Their parents also prohibit any foray into politics because they invest heavily in their children’s career.
