Nigdi police, on a request from Haryana police, arrested a 26-year-old local resident who is accused of extorting a
woman from the northern state, after befriending her on
Facebook and entering into a sexual relationship with her. He was using videos he d made of their sexual interludes to blackmail, threatening to upload them on social media and also doing as much on several occasions, before deleting them after she coughed up a bank transfer. Pursuant to his arrest on Friday night, the man has been handed over the Haryana police.
