Nigdi police, on a request from Haryana police, arrested a 26-year-old local resident who is accused of extorting a
woman from the northern state, after befriending her on
Facebook and entering into a sexual relationship with her. He was using videos he'd made of their sexual interludes to blackmail, threatening to upload them on social media and also doing as much on several occasions, before deleting them after she coughed up a bank transfer. Pursuant to his arrest on Friday night, the man has been handed over the Haryana police.
