MSD tasked to urgently send medicines and medical supplies to Rombo 30 MSD tasked to urgently send medicines and medical supplies to Rombo DEPUTY Minister for Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children Dr Godwin Mollel has directed the Medical Stores Department (MSD) to urgently send medicines and medical supplies to the Rombo District Hospital in Kilimanjaro Region which is currently facing acute shortage . He made the directive yesterday here during his tour to inspect various health centres that face shortage of medicines and medical supplies. “The MSD’s role is responsible for receiving, storing and distributing essential medicines, medical supplies, laboratory diagnostic equipment and other key tools. It is also there also to provide information on the better use of the medicines and equipment so as to help the government make appropriate decisions,” he said adding that: “MSD should then ensure that the Rombo hospital is supplied ....
