By Ryan Young May 10, 2021 | 6:46 PM The Manitoba government has announced a fourth installment of their Bridge Grant payments, to the tune of 71 million dollars, to help small businesses navigate the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. In a news release, the province says “eligible businesses that received prior bridge grant payments will automatically receive a fourth payment of up to $5,000 beginning as early as Friday, May 14 and will be notified of the deposit via email.” Premier Brian Pallister says the province expects a high level of interest from businesses across the province. “We anticipate that there will be more than 12-thousand businesses and organizations that have store-fronts that will qualify for this support, ” Pallister said. “In addition, we believe close to 3-thousand home-based businesses will also benefit from this program.” ....
