i think i ll just make a couple comments and that s just that i note there are a number of different issues swirling around this planning code change including both the design which is not before us and also the labor issues which are also not before us. but i m really glad to see that through this process facilitated both with planning and president chiu s office we are able to resolve a number of those issues before the [speaker not understood] came before us. and i think it certainly will make for a stronger business presence on that corridor, having resolved many of those issues prior to this coming to the board of supervisors. so, congratulations on that work. thank you, supervisor kim. colleagues, are there any additional comments or questions on item number 3? okay. we ve adopted the amendments on item number 3 and as i understand it we can move these out of committee today. is that correct, mr. givner? okay. so, colleagues, i want to just thank supervisor chiu for

years. that was inadvertently included. therefore our recommendation to amend the proposed recommendation to extend the contract by 2 years and we recommend you approve the resolution as amended. regarding item 8, i should state, on page 35 of our report we note that the peninsula pipelines upgrade total project budget approved by the public utilities commission is $42 million, 42, 9300 and that is listed on our report. the listed requested funds on page 10 on the construction funds in water revenue bonds which were previously fwrieptd proerptd by the board of supervisors for that project. our recommendation supervisors is that you do release the 10.2 million and that would be consistent with why the committee released the funds in the first place subject to the environmental impact report on item 7 on your calendar today. that won t be decided until the full board meets assuming the committee recommends that out, a week from yesterday. so, i just want to note to you that our

we mix it. yeah. right. thank you. thank you, mr. ricky mr. vice president that concludes my report. so i see mr. erick if there s no other any public comment? there are no speaker cards a very good afternoon i m eric i m representing the local. i m also one of the members of the sierra club bay chapter committee and i want to take you back to our last meeting. and also a or some of you may have seen in the newspapers a report about deacceleration i want to make sure that that report took comments out of the context and made it a lot look we were supportive of deacceleration we don t support of the bay area deacceleration project that s still the case. let me read from the sierra clubs guidelines deacceleration shouldn t be used for water supply needs that can be reached from other water efficient practices. so a project like the bay area deacceleration he promise is not necessary. xhifl we over estimate how much water we were going to need decades ago we thought we
