Keeping kids interested and involved during school has always been a challenge for teachers, but with remote learning, it’s even tougher. That’s why some educators are getting creative to keep their students engaged by putting stickers all over their faces. Middle school math teacher
Diane Moon tried it with her students after a colleague showed her a TikTok of another teacher doing it and she says it has encouraged kids to participate more.
Diane made it a competition between her classes, telling them every time someone new spoke up in class, she’d add a sticker and the class who has the most wins. She says she heard from students who hadn’t spoken out all semester and even saw them coming together to encourage classmates to speak up, saying things like, “It’s okay if the answer is wrong.” Inspired by the success, Diane shared a video of her face covered in stickers and shared it on Twitter, where it’s gone vir ....
