When you decide to leave the school athletic program that has become more of a family experience, it makes it that much tougher. Such is the case of trainer Elicia Jacobs, who is departing Foothill as her family is moving to Colorado.
More than a year later after first being nominated, Foothill High s Josh Hill will finally be presented with an Alameda County Teacher of the Year award during a special ceremony honoring more than a dozen Bay Area educators next week.
