India News: The Civil Hospital in Sangrur has installed its fifth dialysis machine unit at the emergency ward. The installation of this state-of-the-art machine unit will provide great relief to the patients coming for dialysis as the waiting list would be ended. Punjab Finance and Planning Minister Harpal Singh Cheema inaugurated the installation of the dialysis unit.
A dialysis facility is set to debut at the Bonai sub-divisional hospital (SDH) in Sundargarh district soon. Patients suffering from renal diseases can avail the service free of cost if referred by the district or sub-district hospitals. The facility will have four dialysis machines and will be available 24x7. It will benefit more than five lakh residents of Baneigarh, Lahunipada, Gurundia, and Koida blocks.

The bill provides for the minimum physical facilities, equipment and instruments, and service delivery requirements for all apex hospitals.
