(U.S. Department of Energy/Forbes) Devinn Lambert, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Bioenergy Technologies Office (BETO) technical manager, made the 2021 Forbes 30 Under 30 Energy List for her work in energy research. As a technology manager for BETO’s Advanced Algal Systems program, Devinn oversees research grants on a team that invests approximately $35 million per year to develop algal biofuels. She is the Operations Committee Liaison for the Biomass Research and Development Board and the Co-Chair of the Algae Interagency Working Group. Other contributions Devinn has made to the energy industry include being the driving force behind the recent establishment of the Advanced Aviation Fuels Interagency Working Group. This group brings together seven federal agencies to coordinate bioenergy research from the microliter scale to biorefineries that process thousands of tons of biomass per day. READ MORE ....
