that moved through well to the east of us and southeast as well with the live sentinel radar. these storms are strong and we still have watches and warnings to talk about as well across many of the areas. today was active. earlier today we had a tornado warning as well as plenty of severe thunderstorm warnings. this is a look at what pushed its way through. to the west of us, another round associated with an approaching cold front. the storms we saw were ahead of that cold front. gusty winds, hail and flooding in many areas. we are under a severe thunderstorm watch until 9:00 for the entire viewing area and we have a flash flood watch in effect including the district, carroll county, anne arundel, fairfax, alexandria until 11:00 tonight. so, we are looking at seeing heavy rainfall and strong storms possibly again. some of those could be severe. rain and storms, another round coming. we will see improvement in the overnight hours. more details later. back to you. severe weat
